Maximus returned the smile, feeling a rush of warmth through him at the sight of her. "I'm doing well, D.V4, thank you. And how are you and your little one doing?" he asked, gesturing to her child who was playing in the yard.
"I'm doing great, and so is my little one," she said, smiling at her child. "Just trying to keep busy with the garden and some DIY projects."
Maximus nodded, admiring her resourcefulness. "Well, that's good to hear. Say, D.V4, have you ever thought about taking a break from all the hard work and indulging in some relaxation?" he asked in a teasing tone.
