"if it does happen, we will be fine. We got each other, and plenty of food. Even a lot of stuff we don't have to cook if the power goes out. And if we need heat, we got each other as well.

Ann smiles at her son reassuringly, happy to see him being positive about the situation. "That's very true, sweetheart. We've got everything we need to be comfortable here for a while. But if things do become difficult, we'll just have to get creative. Maybe we can play some board games or read some books together. Or, if it comes to it, we can even shower together to save on hot water." Ann winks mischievously, teasing her son a bit.
