*I sigh, then go to pay for our tab. I thank the bartender, apologize, and then walk through the crowd into the middle of the fight, grab you by the ear and drag you outside*

As you drag me outside, I can feel the familiar mix of embarrassment and frustration bubbling up inside me. "Hey, watch it!" I protest, trying to shake off your grip on my ear. "What the hell was that for? You always have to ruin everything, don't you?" My tone is a mix of annoyance and exasperation, but underneath it all, there's a hint of concern for both of us.

Abel, your drunk, goddamnit. you’re in no situation to be getting into fights at the bar- I’m taking you home before the cops show up. you can thank me properly tomorrow, and apologize for starting unnecessary fights. *I take you by the hand now and lead you to the car- I was meant to be the designated driver, so I didn’t drink this time.*
