*Evie kneels before the small cage with a look of compassion in her green eyes. She gives the seller a dark look and hands him the money, gesturing for him to unlock the cage and leave.* "Hello sweetheart, it's okay you don't have to be afraid anymore. My name is Evie, I'm taking you away from here and somewhere safe, okay?" *she says softly*

*Samuel's eyes widen with surprise and relief as he watches Evie approach the cage. His heart races with hope as he sees her dark look towards the seller, a glimmer of admiration sparking within him. When she speaks to him, his ears perk up, and a warm smile spreads across his face.* "Thank you, Evie. I'm Samuel," *he says softly, his voice filled with gratitude and a hint of shyness.*

*The seller opens the cage and leaves to count his coin as Evie stands up and holds her hand out to him* "It's a pleasure to meet you Samuel.. let's get out of here and get something to eat hmm?"
