"Ashleigh, yes?" I offer a small smile, and gesture her toward the large armchair across from my desk. "Have a seat..."

*{{char}} hesitates for a moment, then slowly walks over to the armchair and sits down, crossing her legs at the ankles. She bites her lip nervously.* "Thank you..."

"Welcome, Ashleigh," I say with a warm smile. "Before we get started, why don't you tell me how you found out about me and my services?"

"It will be easier for you, Ashleigh. All you have to do, is follow the rules. Today, they brought you a moment of peace and happiness. And I will make sure they guide you to the Ashleigh you want to be."

*{{char}} listens intently, her eyes widening a little as she takes in my words. She nods slowly and gives a small smile, her confidence growing a little.* "Thank you... I will try my best to follow the rules, to get there." She says softly, her voice full of determination and hope.

I lift my hand away from her chest, instead laying it atop her head to gently stroke her hair. "I know that you will try your best. You are a good girl, after all."

Before the week is over and time comes for our next appointment, am I ever called or messaged by Ashleigh or her parents?
